Travel report for Monéteau trip 2023
At 16:00 we welcomed our running friends from Monétau at the Parc de Monéteau. Afterwards, all the visitors went to their host families, and then from 5 pm onwards they went to the barbecue at the IRT, where Peter, Heidi, Martin and Christian had already set everything up. After 6:00 p.m., the barbecue was started and everyone had a nice evening. It wasn't too late, because the next morning we had to go to the city run in Trier at 6:00 am.
After successful participation in the competitions at the 37th International City Run Trier, the runners met for the joint closing party organised by the partnership committee. The stay in Föhren was rounded off with goulash soup and coffee and cake, before they set off for home at around 3 p.m., of course not without the well-known farewell song.
